The information is also used by local historians who are researching village history. This collection of material is held in the Civic Offices and can be consulted by members of the public by making an appointment through the Council's Archaeological Officer. Telephone 01908 252902 for further information. (Please note that the information held is not suitable for family history research).

The majority of Milton Keynes HER records are now available to search on the national Heritage Gateway. Additionally, details and locations of archaeological sites, find-spots, historic buildings and historic landscapes in Milton Keynes can be viewed online with the MKi Heritage Theme.
