For many years, MK Building Control have been actively involved in the Local Authority Building Contol partnership scheme. This innovative and modern approach to obtaining Building Regulations approval allows any company to partner with MK Building Control to provide a single point of contact for all applications in England and Wales.

Our valued partners have enjoyed the following benefits since joining with us under the scheme:

• Consistent interpretation of the regulations
• A special relationship and understanding of their design and conservation method
• Co-ordination between Building Control MK and the inspecting authority on their behalf.

MK Building Control in conjunction with our long standing partner Avebury scooped a prestigious award at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) National Built in Quality Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London in 2005. Click for further information.

MK Building Control also won Regional and National Awards with it's partner PRP Architects in 2009 and a Regional Award with it's partner Buckingham Group in 2010.

There is no additional cost for using the scheme and no contractural commitment. Plan checking for specific projects may be dealt with locally if desired.
