Therefore we have developed this Guide to assist all organisations that want to bid for contracts with the Council.
Every Council service procures goods and services and as we grow more dependent upon external suppliers and partners, it is of fundamental importance to the Council to have a clear Procurement Strategic Plan in place at corporate level.
This strategy is aimed at promoting effective procurement across the whole organisation and seeks to draw together, in one document, all the existing elements of Procurement Strategic Plan, thereby providing a corporate “approach”.
