Her Majesty's Coroner for Milton Keynes is Tom Osborne.

The coroner is a medical or legal professional, of at least 5 years service, responsible for investigating deaths in particular situations. The Coroner can also arrange for a post-mortem examination of a body, if necessary. An inquest is a legal inquiry into the causes and circumstances of a death.


In Milton Keynes we now have a dedicated Coroner's Court based at the Crownhill Crematorium site although the Civic Offices are still used to hold Inquests occasionally.
