Hosted by Milton Keynes Council's Youth Service, the Milton Keynes Council of Voluntary Organisations (MKCVO) and MK Dons Sport and Education Trust, these will be the third Achieve MK Awards to take place in Milton Keynes.

 Olympic fever hit Milton Keynes this week when children from the east of the borough took part in a summer holiday sports day at Broughton Fields School. The mini-Olympics featured a wide variety of events that will take place at London 2012, as well as some fun activities including three legged races, welly-wanging, sack races and ball games.

 The team behind the MK extended services programmes, Playing for Success, Lights Up On Learning and the MK Dons Double Club, has been awarded the Quality in Study Support mark (QiSS). They were presented with the award by Gail Tolley, Director of Children and Young People's Services at Milton Keynes Council, at an awards evening held at stadiummk last week.
