The Council's Approach

Equalities - Cec Tallack
Cec Tallack
Councillor Cec Tallack Leader of Milton Keynes Council expresses the importance of Equality:

“Making the best use of everyone's talents is critical to the future of Milton Keynes, not just for future economic prosperity, but also to ensure that this city is a place where everyone is comfortable living together irrespective of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.

Community cohesion is an important objective not just of the Council, but amongst everyone to ensure Milton Keynes is a good place to live. At the same time, we must ensure that diversity is celebrated and guarantee that no-one is enslaved by conformity.

Milton Keynes is a great place. Let us make sure is somewhere that is free and fair and where every individual has the opportunity to reach his or her full potential.”
