Merry Heritage Christmas

The Mince Pie and Mulled Wine Museum Trail

Christmas is coming and the goose is getting worried... At least those on Willen Lake are well looked after by visitors in the feeding areas. Join us on a virtual Heritage Christmas Trail across Milton Keynes, starting at Willen Lake and ending at Milton Keynes Museum's Victorian Christmas. Then go and walk it yourself, getting fit in time for the festive season and experiencing the magical history this city has to offer.

Peace Pagoda Willen Lake
Peace Pagoda Willen Lake:

Starting from the Geese at Willen Lake, we head northwards past the Buddhist Temple to the Peace Pagoda, first one of its kind in the western world and opened in 1980. Walking up and over the hill to the right of the Pagoda we pass Camp Hill Community on the left and reach the Grand Union Canal. Crossing the bridge we turn right and head north.
