The Families Information Service (FIS) is part of the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership

Milton Keynes FIS provides free, impartial 'tailor made' information and guidance on all types of childcare and childcare related issues including Working and Child Tax Credits, Family Support, Holiday Activities, Jobs in Childcare and Childcare Training

New Children's Trust Protocol agreed

Services for Children and Families - Mk Children's Trust

Updated guidance on information sharing between services working with children and young people was published by the Government in October 2008. Alongside the Guidance for practitioners and managers there is also a pocket guide summarising the main messages.

This guidance should be read with the Children's Trust Information Sharing Protocol which was ratified and adopted by the Children's Trust Board in July 2008. The Protocol updates and replaces the previous Multi-agency Data and Information Sharing Protocol and is for everyone who works with children and young people in Milton Keynes.
