Award Winning Bletchley Leisure Centre
Bletchley Leisure Centre - the £21m venue for the 21st Century - has already scooped its first award just weeks after it opened its doors. The leisure centre was judged to be excellent at this year’s, held at the annual Ecobuild conference, at Earl’s Court, using the BREEAM standards.

Free Swimming Initiative to End

In the light of the Governments announcement on 17th June 2010, the free swimming available to those aged 16 and under and over 60 will end after the last session on Saturday 31st July. Further details.

Oxley Park Community Facility and Children's Centre

New Community building Now Open

Leisure Facilities - Oxley ParkWork has now started on the building of the new joint community facility at Oxley Park. Planning permission was given in October 2009 for the new Centre which is sited adjacent to the school.

Broughton Community Sports Pavilion

For some time now there have been talks about a Broughton Community Sports Pavilion on the green space next to the Tanfield Lane and the Broughton Brook. The first steps have now been taken to make the pavilion a reality and the concept plans were available for everyone to have a look at and comment upon on Wednesday 24th February at the Broughton Hotel, further development of the design has taken place and a planning application for the project will be submitted shortly. New Wolverton Pool

Proposed new Swimming Pool and community facilities

Leisure Facilities - Wolverton Community Pool Consultation
Architects undertook a feasibility study on options for the proposed new Wolverton Pool.
These options are 1) a new pool on a new site off Stratford Road, 2) a new pool on the existing site and 3) enhancing and covering the existing pool. The feasibility report was presented at Cabinet on 26th January at which it was agreed to progress with Option 1

Westcroft Pavilion

New community building

Leisure Facilities - Westcroft PavilionMKC are providing a small community building on the playing fields off Cranborne Avenue at Westcroft The pavilion will have changing rooms with showers, officials changing rooms, a small social area/meeting space with kitchen for community use, toilets and storage.
