Bletchley Leisure Centre
The new £21 million Bletchley Leisure will be opening its doors to customers on Monday 4th January 2010. This exciting new development will be offering a 25m 8 lane swimming pool, sauna, steam room, 100 station state-of-the-art fitness studio, aerobics studio, spinning studio, 4 squash courts, 6 badminton court sports hall, gymnastics hall, multipurpose hall, 7 rink bowls hall and café, all of which will be fully accessible to people with disabilities. New Oxley Park Community Facility and Children's Centre

Leisure Facilities - Oxley ParkWork has now started on the building of the new joint community facility at Oxley Park. Planning permission was given in October for the new Centre which is sited adjacent to the school.

Proposed New Wolverton Pool Feasibility Study

Leisure Facilities - Wolverton Community Pool Consultation
Over the past few months Architects have been undertaking a feasibility study on options for the proposed new Wolverton Pool.

These options are 1) a new pool on a new site off Stratford Road, 2) a new pool on the existing site and 3) enhancing and covering the existing pool. The feasibility report was presented at Cabinet on 26th January at which it was agreed to progress with Option 1

Fire and Licensing Seminar

Fire and Licensing Seminar

On Wednesday 17th June the Communities and Third Sector Team in collaboration with Bucks Fire Service, MKC Licensing and Community Liaison ran a very successful information evening to advise people managing community run facilities about the responsibilities surrounding Licensing and Fire. Around 100 people attended at the Ridgeway Community Centre, Wolverton Mill South.

Westcroft Pavilion

New community building

Leisure Facilities - Westcroft PavilionMKC are providing a small community building on the playing fields off Cranborne Avenue at Westcroft (subject to planning permission). The pavilion will have four changing rooms with showers, officials changing rooms, a small social area/meeting space with kitchen for community use, toilets and storage. The design is currently under review and images will be on this site for viewing as soon as available. Westcroft
