MK Archaeology Day 2025
MK Archaeology Day returns on Saturday 1 November from 10am to 4pm in the Church of Christ the Cornerstone, 300 Saxon Gate, Central Milton Keynes MK9 2ES. This FREE event features something for all ages, with stands, displays, and activities from active local archaeological groups. Plus a chance to see some of the artefacts from MK East in a special “Pop-Up Museum” and hands-on activity for young people (Age 8+) from Pre-Construct Archaeology / RPS.
The afternoon features talks from 1pm including the Olney Roman mosaic, further discoveries on the MK East development, and a special guest presentation on the extensive excavations undertaken by MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) across Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire ahead of the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet highways improvements.
