Wolverton Agora Site Development Brief

A Draft Development Brief has been prepared to guide the appropriate redevelopment of the Agora site in Wolverton including the adjacent council-owned car park. This site is integral to the economic and social well being of the town and has vital importance for its future growth and regeneration.

The Brief has been informed by related overarching planning policy such as the Wolverton Regeneration Strategy and the Wolverton Town Centre Neighbourhood Plan but provides more detailed guidance and principles applicable to the site in order to achieve a high quality mixed use development that respects and complements the historical context of the surrounding conservation area.

Following consultation on the Development Brief and subsequent feedback from stakeholders it will be amended where appropriate and recommended for adoption by the council as a Supplementary Planning Document and will be used to make decisions about subsequent planning applications for the site.
