Local authorities will be required to use a single local formula for funding the early year’s free entitlement in the maintained, private, voluntary and independent (PVI) sectors from April 2010. This consultation is to get your opinions on the single pupil count and the single funding formula that is being developed in Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes Council as the Licensing Authority under the Gambling Act 2005 has undertaken an extensive review of its current policy that has been in place for nearly 3 years. The Council is now in the position to grant a Large Casino Premises Licence and this has required a new section to be incorporated.

We are coming to the end of our current contract with consultants to carry out a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) and have begun to commission a new one to begin in 2010. The first part of this process is putting together a Draft Brief for carrying out the work. As per Government Guidance we are giving stakeholders the opportunity to express their views on our current proposal for carrying out a SHMA for Milton Keynes.
