Welcome to Milton Keynes Governor Services. We work closely with governors and headteachers to maintain and improve the quality of education and the standards of achievement in our schools. This site is designed to support existing and prospective governors in Milton Keynes.

Governing bodies play a major role in assisting schools to provide high quality educational opportunities for pupils and a rich learning environment that reflects the needs and wishes of the local community.

The Governor Support Service provides a range of services to governing bodies and individual governors to enable them to contribute effectively and confidently to the work of their school.

We need people from all areas of Milton Keynes to become governors. If you have the enthusiasm, time, interest and commitment then you could meet this challenge. Schools across Milton Keynes vary considerably from modern, purpose built schools to village schools and schools of character.
