If the installer is not registered with a competent person scheme for the installation of solar PV, an application for Building Regulations approval is required.
You will need to notify us once work has commenced and we will arrange inspections with you to check the work is compliant. Assuming the work complies and after the final inspection we will be able to issue you with a completion certificate. This certificate can be used to assist in the conveyancing process when selling your property.
