Naming and Renewal of Vows
In addition to its legal duties of registering births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships, Milton Keynes Council's Registration Service also offers Naming and Renewal of Vows ceremonies.
These civil ceremonies are a special way to celebrate a new family member or to re-new promises with a loved one. Although they are non-statutory and have no legal status, they mark these special occasions as an alternative to a religious ceremony.
These ceremonies can be held at any of our
licensed venues in Milton Keynes or at the
Register Office.
Ceremonies are unique and tailored to your needs with a choice of words, poems and readings. You can of course supply your own special readings or music if you prefer. A commemorative certificate will be provided and the ceremony will be conducted by a fully trained Celebrant.
