We are also now taking bookings for Skills Checks which are a necessary step towards joining our GCSE Maths, GCSE English Language, GCSE Science, ESOL and Functional Skills Maths and/or English classes. If you are interested in any of these courses please call on 01908 556703 or go to the English and Maths page for more information. You must be over the age of 19 as of 31/08/2016 to apply and our GCSE courses are free if you have not gained a Grade C or above previously.
Community Learning's Youth Service has some exciting opportunities for learners under 25 starting this Autumn.
- Our Construction Traineeship (PDF, 180KB) is a 12 week programme in Construction for 16-24 year olds that will lead to an award in Health & Safety, Level 1 Employability, a CSCS Card, an asbestos awareness certificate, Maths, English & ICT and a 6 week sector based work placement in MK. - CSI:MK (PDF, 263KB) is a full time study programme in Customer Service for 16-18 year olds that will lead to a level 2 Diploma including Maths and English. - The Prince's Trust Team Programme (PDF, 277KB) is a Personal Development course for anyone aged 16-25. You wil experience a range of activities, including work experience and a residential trip, which will build your skills and your confidence for personal and professional life and earn a Level 1 Certificate.
