Cedars Primary School is situated in the established and historic town of Newport Pagnell. The school dates back to 1896, and many of our parents are past pupils! The school serves the older established parts of Newport Pagnell and the villages of Astwood, Chicheley and Lathbury. Our nursery serves the whole of Newport Pagnell and the surrounding villages. Children are usually admitted to the nursery the September following their third birthday.
At Cedars, we promote high standards with an emphasis on care, concern and courtesy within a strong learning community.
Key features:
- Cedars provides a wide range of extra curricular activities and we take pride in the excellent sporting record we have achieved, with success in city wide events
- We have excellent links with the local community and have a very active Parent Teacher Association that organises many events for the school community
- We promote high standards, expecting each child to achieve their potential, whilst giving great emphasis to good behaviour and attitudes
- Visitors to our school comment on the strong sense of community spirit and the positive attitudes and courtesy of our children
- We are also very proud of our nursery and early years provision, which gives children a wonderful start in these formative years
