St Bernadette's is a new school built on the eastern flanks of the city by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Northampton in partnership with Milton Keynes Council. The school serves, primarily, the parishes of Our Lady of Lourdes (Coffee Hall), Christ the King (Kents Hill) and St Mary's Woburn Sands.
The school provides a Christian environment where the mission statement, "Loving, serving and growing with Jesus", permeates all aspects of school life and is implemented by:
- developing a loving, caring community, which recognises and celebrates the unique, God-given nature of each individual
- valuing every member of the community and developing the potential of each child
- creating an educational environment in which we are all encouraged to enjoy our work whilst aspiring to the highest standards of achievement and behaviour
- giving children, families and staff the experience of being part of an active Catholic community.
