Arranging Care for Adults who have HIV/AIDS
Social Care Services can offer a range of services to people with HIV according to an assessment of their community care needs. These services may include advice and information about a wide range of local services, access to support groups (including alternative therapy), respite care, care within the home, and emotional or ongoing social work support whether the person is in hospital or living in the community.

For Sexual Health Matters
The GUM clinic is based at the hospital, Tel. 01908 243860. It is best to ring early on a Monday as appointments fill up quickly.
Brook Advisory Clinic offers a contraception and sexual health advice service to young people Tel 01908 669215.
Services for Carers of Adults who have HIV/AIDS
Carers are entitled to an assessment of their needs as a carer in their own right, irrespective of whether the person they are caring for has had a community care assessment. It may be possible to provide you with services to help you continue in your caring role. Contact the social worker, as your first point of contact. Tel 01908 243668.
Milton Keynes Carers Project can provide information, advice, signposting to other local services and support groups, social activities, and emotional support. Tel 01908 231703.
