The B&Q roundabout remodelling work is now complete. The area was subject to frequent congestion and had become a bottleneck for traffic as the area it serviced grew. The previous layout made it possible for dangerous manoevering to occur as well.

The government has invited English local transport authorities outside London to bid for funding from the 'Better Bus Areas Fund.' This £50m fund is aimed at bus projects worth up to £5m which support growth and reduce carbon emissions by improving bus patronage.
