Ceremonies are now able to proceed. The number of attendees permitted in the Flowers Suite is subject to guidelines in place at the time a ceremony takes place. Further information regarding this can be found in the Weddings and Civil Partnerships Update document (PDF, 97KB) and is subject to change.
The couple can either be seen together or separately on arrival and readings and additional elements are permitted, such as music played or additional vows or promises. Please complete your appropriate checklist (see document section) ahead of your ceremony date so we know your wishes beforehand.
There will be a Perspex screen between you and the registrar; the celebrant will be wearing a face shield.
All Register Office ceremonies will be held in the waiting room and only the couple and their two witnesses will be permitted into the building.

Please note that ceremonies cannot be booked to take place within three months from the date the booking is made in order to ensure that all the legal preliminaries (Notices) have been completed.
