Where can I get married or hold a ceremony?
You can marry in any licensed venue or Register Office in England and Wales. A full list of approved premises in England and Wales can be found on the gov.uk website.
For religious weddings you should check with the church or place of worship with regards to the requirements and availability.
Before booking your notice appointment with us you do need to know exactly where you wish the ceremony to take place. If your ceremony is to take place at a licensed venue, then you should contact them first to discuss their availability before contacting us.
