Summary

Milton Keynes Council is consulting on two planning policy documents. These Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) will provide detailed guidance on two subjects: the design of new residential development; and CMK tall buildings. The consultation will run for eight weeks 18/01/10 - 12/03/10. The SPDs will be available for inspection at the Council's Civic Offices, at all libraries and on the Council's website.

Purpose

The New Residential Development Design Guide SPD provides guidance on the quality of design that the Council and Milton Keynes Partnership expect to see in planning applications for new residential development. The CMK Tall Buildings Strategy SPD sets out the Council's requirements in terms of the location and design of tall buildings in Central Milton Keynes (CMK). Comments should be received by the Council by 12/03/10, by post, email or online.
