Milton Keynes Council is proposing to introduce the following traffic calming features and parking restrictions on parts of Water Eaton Road, Willow Way, Celina Close, Hunter Drive, Saffron Street and Chestnut Crescent in Bletchley:-

  • Six sets of speed cushions on either side of the carriageway and one flat top speed hump on Water Eaton Road;
  • No waiting at any time restrictions along parts of Water Eaton Road, Willow Way, Celina Close, Hunter Drive, Saffron Street and Chestnut Crescent;
  • No waiting between 7:30am and 9:15am / 2:30pm and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday along parts of Saffron Street;
  • No loading / unloading between 7:30am and 9:15am / 2:30pm and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday along parts of Saffron Street

The above proposals come as a result of the Council's commitment to improve road safety on Water Eaton Road and outside the Premier Academy in Bletchley.
