Statutory Consultation: Proposed ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions along parts of Breckland in Linford Wood (No.2).

Summary

Milton Keynes Council is proposing to introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) along parts of Breckland in Linford Wood as part of the approved Section 278 agreement.

The proposed no waiting restrictions will facilitate a new informal pedestrian crossing point on Breckland opposite the entrance to the Woodlands Business Park.

The proposed no waiting restrictions will ensure there is adequate visibility at the pedestrian crossing point and will help create a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists.

MK Council has prepared the proposed order entitled “The Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes (The Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes) (Various Roads, Linford Wood) (Prohibition of Waiting Restrictions) Order 2011) Variation Order 2020 (No.2)”.

The Traffic Regulation Order is a legal document which allows the Highways Authority to restrict the highway which is enforceable by law.

MK Council is now formally consulting on the proposed Traffic Regulation Order and therefore invites you to formally comment on the proposals.

You can view the proposed Order, notice of proposal and statement of reasons on the left hand column of this webpage under the heading ‘documents’.
