Milton Keynes Council was awarded a Go Ultra Low City Status, one of four UK Cities and received funding from OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) to help continue roll of charging infrastructure to help support the uptake of electric vehicles.

The purpose of the electric vehicle charging hubs is to provide parking facilities for residents and employees of local businesses without off-street parking to charge their electric vehicles within walking distance of their homes/place of work.

The Council considers it expedient to introduce the electric vehicle parking place restrictions to improve the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

Copies of the notice of proposal, location plan, proposed Order together with a plan showing the general arrangements of the electric vehicle parking places and a statement of reason, are available for inspection on the left-hand side of this webpage under the heading “Documents”

Any objections to the above proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Synergy Park, Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall, Milton Keynes, MK6 1LY, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-299.

The closing date for this consultation is 5pm 22 October 2020.

Please submit your comments before the closing date otherwise your comments may not be considered.
