Help with Energy Costs

Information on how you may get help with bills and other costs

For information about the help that is available from the Government to meet increasing energy costs, please visit their website.

On 19 December 2022 the Government announced that it will be providing a £200 payment for households that use alternative fuels like heating oil and a £400 payment for households who do not have a direct relationship to an energy provider, such as care home or and park home residents .

Applications for this scheme will have to be made on the .Gov.uk website when the scheme opens in January so please do not contact Council as we are not administering the application process.
