FREE Floodmobile tour 3 - 6 August

Do you want to learn how to be better prepared for a flood? We’re holding a public tour from 3 - 6 August, led by experts in flood and water management. Find out 50 ways you can be more resilient if a flood happens.

Milton Keynes Council has brought together experts in flood and water management with a four day Floodmobile Tour at the following locations:

There will be some presentations and the opportunity to speak with experts directly for practical advice. 


The Floodmobile will showcase 50 different property flood resilience measures, to demonstrate the adaptations that can be introduced to a property to help reduce the impact future flooding can have.

The Floodmobile showcases a wide range of interventions: door valves, non-return vales, wall membrane systems with accompanying sump pumps, flooring, wall coverings, alternative skirting boards, self-closing air bricks, periscope covers, recoverable kitchens and flood barriers and doors – including those suitable for listed buildings. The Floodmobile also showcases various types of waterproof plaster and insulation.
