Adult Cycle Training

Cycling can improve your brainpower, relationships, health and happiness. Join the fun with our cycle training courses this summer

Cycling is a great way to stay healthy, keep fit, get to work and spend time with the family in the great outdoors. But for some adults there are too many perceived barriers to getting out on their bikes.

Not being able to ride, busy modern day traffic, safety concerns and getting lost are just some of the common reasons why people don’t cycle. This summer we’re providing a whole range of subsidised cycle training to help people overcome these issues and get cycling.

Learn to Ride

For people who have never ridden a bike this one hour introductory session will teach the basic skills needed. Training will be 1 to 1 with the instructor, participants need to be 16 years of age or over and have their own bike or hire one for the session. A small booking fee is payable to the instructor. Courses are limited and only available until November 2016.
