2017 celebrates the 200th anniversary of the bicycle so join one of the many events taking place during the #YearoftheBike.
April to September 2017 - Guided Rides for Families and Adults
Guided cycle rides for beginners and lead by experienced ride leaders at locations around MK. Full details of these rides is on the local rides page.
1-30 September - Cycle September (Love to Ride)
Log your miles for your workplace, school or team to compete against riders and teams across the UK. Prizes and leader boards with points awarded for miles ridden, time ridden, encouraging colleagues and simply taking part.

13 September 2017 - National Cycle to Work Day
Encouraging everyone to take to two wheels and cycle to work at least one day a year, supported by employers and local authorities.

17 September 2017 - MK Get On Your Bike
As well as the bike ride itself there will be lots of family fun for a great day out. For riders we have 2 cycle routes for 2017 and a shorter route for children.
There will be a number of stalls, on site catering, a cake stall, ice cream van and tombola. Geoffrey the Giraffe from Toys R Us and hopefully Samantha the Panther will be available for photo opportunities.
MKFM will provide musical entertainment and a warm up exercise will be organised for all riders before the start.

Regular Cycling Activities
In addition to the weekly rides listed below, there are over a dozen cycling groups and clubs in the Milton Keynes area who organise a wide range of cycle rides throughout the week. More information is available on the local cycle club webpage.
