Street Nameplates

Installing new nameplates is the responsibility of the property developer working on the new development. Once the highway is adopted maintenance of nameplates will be the responsibility of the council. to find out if a road has been adopted by the council visit our "My Milton Keynes" mapping page and search using your postcode:

Once you have checked and found out that the steet has been adopted by the council you can report maintenance issues regarding existing street nameplates, please e-mail our Customer Service Centre Customerservices@milton-keynes.gov.uk or telephone the Customer Service Centre team on 01908 25 2570. 

Some examples of issues relating to street nameplates are:

  • Missing nameplate
  • Damaged nameplate
  • Graffiti on nameplate

If the nameplates are fixed on un-adopted highway land please contact your local property developer look out for banners and signage put up in the area by the developer to identfy who to contact. You can find a list of some common property developers below:
