Transport Policy

All our transport strategy documents are listed here including the Mobility Strategy for 2018 -2036.

The different transport documents look at what infrastructure MK will need now and into the future. They also take in account different factors like government policy, the Council Plan, mobility needs, growth and changes in transport technology.

The Milton Keynes Mobility Strategy 2018-2036 was adopted by the Council in March 2018 and the Action Plan was developed and adopted in October 2018.  The Action Plan explains the next steps being undertaken to implement the Mobility Strategy.  An updated suite of supporting plans and position papers are being prepared to guide delivery of the Mobility Strategy.

The Transport Infrastructure Delivery Plan (TIDP) is one such plan and provides a framework for the development and delivery of transport infrastructure required for Milton Keynes over the next 15 years.
