Serpentine Court Regeneration

In September 2017 we started meeting residents and stakeholders in Serpentine Court. We hosted a programme of events to get residents involved in developing the regeneration plan options.

Christmas Design Drop-in

On Tuesday 18 December,a Chrsitams design drop-in was held for all Lakes Estate residents to come along, drop-in and talk about all things regeneration.  At the event, the following design boards (PDF, 24.1MB) were presented by the architetcs, HTA.



As part of the #whatmatterstome campaign, we are holding a Safety Day event (JPG, 771KB) with members of the emergency services.  We'd love to hear what matters to you about the plans for the regeneration of Serpentine Court while you are there.  Your ideas will be help to shape the Residents' Charter.


On the 16 and 17 November 2018, a referendum ballot was held for all Serpentine Court Residents to vote on the option they preferred.


Votes are in

84% of Serpentine Court residents voted. 93% of these (175) residents favoured option c - full redevelopment.

This is a great achievement for the Serpentine Court Residnet Steering Group and all that have supported to make this happen.


What will happen next?

Now a decision has been made by Serpentine Court Residents, further design events, leading to a planning submission in spring / summer 2019, will be planned in advance.  Work should start on building new homes in 2020.
