Role of Volunteer Co-ordinator
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic people person for the new role of Volunteer Co-ordinator at Emberton Country Park to help kick start volunteering. The time commitment could be up to 4-6 hours per week, with much flexibility.
This role can be wide ranging and is open to development. All thoughts and ideas are welcome. Some possible activities include organising:
- Conservation and landscaping
- Organised walks and talks on subjects such as, bugs, butterflies, bats, birds and trees
- Photography competitions
- Litter picking
- Walking groups such as mums and toddlers, dogs, seniors
- Youth groups
- Grant applications
- Local news and Community
- Information point of contact
