Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic people to start up a volunteer group at Emberton Country Park. Come and help us keep the Park clean, green and safe for everyone to enjoy. Volunteering benefits you too - providing a sense of belonging, well-being and community.

Role of Volunteer Co-ordinator

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic people person for the new role of Volunteer Co-ordinator at Emberton Country Park to help kick start volunteering. The time commitment could be up to 4-6 hours per week, with much flexibility.

This role can be wide ranging and is open to development. All thoughts and ideas are welcome. Some possible activities include organising:

Conservation and landscaping
Organised walks and talks on subjects such as, bugs, butterflies, bats, birds and trees
Photography competitions
Litter picking
Walking groups such as mums and toddlers, dogs, seniors
Youth groups
Grant applications
Local news and Community
Information point of contact
