Strategic Land Allocation

Strategic Land Allocation from the A421
Eagle Farm North - Future employment site as of December 2014

The ‘Strategic Land Allocation’ (or SLA) is an area of land, approximately 150 hectares in size ,to the north of Wavendon and south of the A421 which will be developed for circa 3,000 homes, schools, open spaces and other community facilities.

A Development Framework for the area was approved by the Council in 2013 and this sets out the overall ‘masterplan’ for the area.

At the moment the various developers involved in the site are in the process of applying for planning permission from the Council.  The latest position is set out in our Key Development Areas document (see link on the left) and details of past and current planning applications can be viewed on our Public Access webpages.

The Council also runs an ‘SLA Stakeholder Group’ where local residents, Councillors, town and parish councils and key organisations can meet and discuss the planning and delivery of the site.  If you would like details of this group then please contact the Infrastructure Coordination and Delivery Team (see contact details on the left).
