The adoption of the Wolverton West End Development Framework followed a six-week consultation period from Wednesday 14 April to Friday 28th May 2004 as part of the Supplementary Planning Guidance statutory process.

Regeneration partners, Milton Keynes Council, South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), English Partnerships and Wolverton and Greenleys Town Council considered the need for changes to the draft development framework document in light of your comments during the consultation.

The aim of the Framework is to provide guidance for new development in the West End of Wolverton, Greenleys and Wolverton Mill (in addition to the Local Plan). Now it has been adopted by Milton Keynes Council as SPG, the Framework will have formal status as a material consideration for planning applications within the project area. It will provide clarity on the way in which development should take place and will be a useful tool for prospective developers, the community and planning authorities.

The Wolverton West End Development Framework sits alongside the Wolverton Regeneration Strategy. Further information on this is also available on this website.
