Stony Stratford Neighbourhood Plan

Current Position

At the referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan that took place on 3 May 2018, 2208 of the votes cast were in favour of the Neighbourhood Plan being made part of the Development Plan for Milton Keynes and 237 were against.  The turnout was 43.15%.  The Declaration of Results can be seen at the following link:

Following the successful referendum, the Stony Stratford Neighbourhood Plan is now in force as part of the statutory Development Plan for the area covered by Stony Stratford parish and will be used when making decisions on planning applications in this area.

The Neighbourhood Plan was formally made by Full Council on 20 June 2018. The report and decision can be viewed in Modern.Gov at the following link:
