Ethnic Minority Achievement (EMA) Network – steps to take with newly arrived international pupils 

If your school receives pupils newly arrived from overseas, the following points provide a summary of actions recommended by the EMA Network.

  • Refer to EMA Network improvement officer - for community links and support opportunities through the supplementary school network
  • Ensure your EMAco has access to the EMACo and Inclusion Manager secure area – password required from EMA Network
  • Consider buying in further EMA Network support.
