The Locally Agreed RE Syllabus

This is the new Locally Agreed Syllabus for Milton Keynes from 1 September 2017. All local authority maintained schools are required by law to follow this syllabus. The SACRE has commissioned a range of additional guidance materials, which will be available shortly and will be shared through Educ@te and the local RE Co-ordinators’ meetings. In the interim it is recommended that schools draw on the additional guidance from the 2011 syllabus, which provides opportunities not just to explore the main faiths, but also those with fewer local adherents.
