Free School Meals Supplementary Grant
The free school meals supplementary grant provides schools with extra funding to help them meet the higher costs of providing extra meals before the lagged funding system catches up. This follows the introduction of Universal Credit, which increases the number of pupils eligible for free school meals. Additional information is here. Payments were made in March 2020 for the year 19/20 and March 2021 for the year 20/21. There is no information available yet for 2021/22.
