Chairs & Vice Chairs of Governing Board with senior officers & the Lead Member

At the beginning of each term, the Council invites Chairs and Vice Chairs of Governors to a meeting.

Each term, the Council invites Chairs and Vice Chairs of Governors to a meeting in order to discuss the local and national news and initiatives.

The aim of these meetings is to provide relevant information to governors to enable them to consider the implications for their schools and plan accordingly.

They also provide an opportunity for discussion between Chairs and Vice Chairs and senior officers of the Council.

If governors would like to request an item for inclusion on the agenda please email schoolgovernors@milton-keynes.gov.uk 10 days before the scheduled date. This will be forwarded to the members of the senior management team for consideration.

If the Chair and Vice Chair is unable to attend the meeting another governor from the governing board is welcome to attend.

All meetings will be held at Milton Keynes Professional Development Centre (MKPDC), Galley Hill, Milton Keynes MK11 1PA. Teas and coffees will be available from 18:30 and the meeting will commence at 19:00. Please see here for directions to the centre.
