Learn to play an Instrument

Playing a musical instrument opens the door to a whole new world where, whatever your age, you can make new friends and have fun!
Learn to play an instrument - you may find you can access lessons through your school or privately through Milton Keynes Music Co-operative:

Please contact the MK Music Co-operative by email mkmusiccoop@gmail.com if you are interested in starting instrumental lessons and they will be able to help you with your query.

Pupils wishing to learn an instrument at school should contact their schools to ask about the arrangements for starting lessons and the cost. Students normally receive 34 lessons during the academic year. Please enquire at your school for details.

Many schools offer whole class tuition to year 3 or 4 pupils on keyboard, guitar, percussion or recorder led by teachers from the Music Faculty. Speak to your school to see if this is available.

Once you have started learning your new instrument, come along and join a Music Centre Ensemble.
