Inclusion and Intervention  Team - SEMH

The SEMH element of the Inclusion and Intervention Team support maintained primary schools to identify children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. We also offer a traded service to Academies and Secondary schools.  The team consists of a manager who is a Specialist Teacher, other Specialist Teachers and Inclusion and Intervention workers.  Schools contact the team using the Inclusion and  Intervention Team Duty Line for advice and we can offer Consultations to  advise schools on appropriate strategies and resources to help support children in their school setting.  Inclusion and Intervention Workers also model interventions to school staff to support individual children.

We also offer Centralised Training sessions for school staff to attend and we deliver bespoke training packages to schools.  We work closely with Milton Keynes Primary Pupil Referral Unit to support children placed there and help to support them back into mainstream school.
