Organisation Details

Founded in 1979 Service Six is Northamptonshire’s leading community charity. We are a specialist provider of outcome based professional therapeutic support, diversionary and activity services for thousands of hard-to-reach disadvantaged children, young people, adults and families.

We are a client lead service with children and young people at the heart of everything we do. Our beneficiaries shape and evaluate our services through Co-Production, ensuring we meet ever their ever developing needs.

We have over 35 years experience of working with commissioners, funders and stakeholders to lead outcome-based contracts; ranging from multi-million pound programmes across the county, co-ordinating with National partner agencies; to smaller targeted projects such as Youth and Holiday Clubs.

We are an award winning agency holding the prestigious British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ‘accredited service’ status and conduct our work in accordance with the Charities Evaluation Service (CES) PQASSO continuous improvement model.

Recently we have expanded across county borders to Buckinghamshire and are delighted to offer our services from our Community Hub at Chapter House, Coffee Hall in Milton Keynes.

Service Six is a co-founder of the Positive Pathway Alliance (PPA), an ambitious cross-sector collaboration that aims to harness available assets, resources and expertise for the benefit of disadvantaged members of the community.

Our Vision

Our vision is that through excellent responsive services the vulnerable members of our community will be healthier, happier, safer, and more resilient in meeting their many future challenges.

Mission Statement

We respond to the identified needs of children, young people, adults and families achieved through a range of professional interventions and partnerships, funded by diverse commissions, grants and donations.
