What is in this directory
This directory contains information about care and support services in Milton Keynes which you can choose to use. Please note:

  • It does not guarantee to include all the services available to you and it does not aim to limit your choice of services to use.
  • Milton Keynes Council (MKC) does not formally contract with all of the services listed on the Adult Social Care Hub.
  • Where there is a green tick next to the name of the service MKC does have a contractual arrangement in place.
  • The Council does not accept any responsibility or liability for the quality or suitability of the services included in this directory

Searching for services – making a short list
You can search and filter the directory in various ways;

  • by clicking on one of the green ‘theme’ boxes
  • by using the keyword search, filtering on client group, service type or age range (that the service provides for)
  • if you know the name of a service you can find it using the A-Z at the bottom of the page

When you find a service you are interested in you can add it to a short list and save, email or print the list.

Choosing a service to use
Before choosing any service we suggest that:

  • You read any information or website pages provided by that service (Disclaimer)
  • You visit it; see the service for yourself and get a “feel” for the way in which it operates.
  • If the service is registered by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), e.g. a Care Home or Home Care service this is shown in the directory and we recommend that you look at the CQC rating and read the latest CQC report, these can be found at www.cqc.org.uk.
  • Carrying out an internet search of a service is another useful way you can learn more about the quality of the provision.
