Safeguarding Adults - Policies and Procedures

Working in partnership is a very important part of protecting adults at risk and this includes having an agreed way of responding to concerns and reports of abuse.

Current policies are:

PLEASE NOTE: The Decision Making Framework (DMF) is a document to define, and share the pathway and processes involved in making and screening of adult safeguarding alerts.  The DMF also aims to inform all about how and when to make a referral, and what to expect when the referral has been made. It is an attempt to create agreed multi agency pathway and process, that incorporates the Care Act and current national good practice

Policies and procedures are overseen by the Adults Programme Board which reports to the  Milton Keynes Safeguarding Board.

Please note:  Safeguarding children procedures can be found in - Milton Keynes Safeguarding Children Board Procedures Manual
