Under Data Protection laws, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. Milton Keynes Council respects your privacy. The information that you provide us with or that is gathered automatically helps us to monitor our service and ensure that our web services are effective and useful.

We collect three kinds of information from visitors to milton-keynes.gov.uk:

Cookies - Online Payments
We use an online payments system on our site so that you can pay Milton Keynes Council bills 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The setting of cookies is integral to the operation of this site and no data is used for tracking purposes.
Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. We analyse log file information from our visitors, which we use to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it.

We do not pass on any of your personal information when dealing with your enquiry, unless you have given us permission to do so. Once we have replied to you, we may keep a record of your messages for reference and audit purposes.
