Council Plan 2016 – 2020

The Council Plan 2016 – 2020 was approved by Council on 13 July 2016. The four year plan sets out how Milton Keynes Council will work to achieve its ambitions for Milton Keynes. The Plan recognises the principles and values of a co-operative council and how these connect to the Council’s values.

It incorporates the Delivery Plan which sets out the detailed activities and milestones to deliver the  sixteen key priorities (set out below) that sit under three overall aims  for Milton Keynes: to be a place of opportunity, an affordable place and a healthy place. 

The sequence of the priorities is set out to reflect the most significant and those that will have the greatest impact.  To ensure delivery for each of the priority themes there are specific commitments for action.  Progress against delivery of the priorities is reported at quarterly intervals to councillors and other stakeholders please see the links below.
