Green Business Recovery Fund

Milton Keynes Council has established a comprehensive Covid19 Economic Recovery Plan supported by £2.25m of funding to support MK people and businesses as part its overall plans for the city.

The Council is ambitious for a green recovery, and has set up a £500,000 Green Business Recovery Fund to encourage MK organisations to be part of the city’s journey to a more sustainable future.

The Fund is open to MK businesses as well as business and community groups, who must demonstrate how they can create more sustainable jobs and growth.

We are particularly interested to hear how green business practices should support the Council’s ambition for MK to become carbon neutral by 2030 and carbon negative by 2050. Submissions should showcase how they go beyond helping individual firms but also help MK become a greener and cleaner city.
