Freewheelers helps support people with Learning Disabilities in Milton Keynes to enjoy the Health and Wellbeing benefits of riding a bike.

The project is based at Willen Lake and is run by members of the Adult Learning Disability Day Service Team however the project is funded by charitable donations.

The range of bikes on offer caters for all levels of ability and includes:

• Wheelchair accessible bike
• Hand cycles (single and side by side)
• Side by side pedal bike
• Trikes
• Quad bikes
• Go Kart

Use of the bikes is free to any individuals who are eligible to receive a service from Community Team for Adults with a Learning Disability (CTALD). For a small fee others with disabilities are welcome to share use of the bikes alongside our timetable of regular users.
